EVERETT BLIX
Casting Director

The Blix Family became involved in the Entertainment Industry via the Studio System in the 1930's. Everett Blix Sr. worked as a Master Property Man for Twentieth Century Fox and his older brother, Vern Blix, was the head Production Grip for many years at MGM. Everett Blix entered the industry in 1982. His first job was assisting a Talent Agency with their submissions for principal roles. Everett switched to the casting area in 1988 working on a voluntary basis at Central Casting. In 1991 Everett moved to the Sacramento, California area and opened up Media Casting. Since then, Everett has cast or assisted in casting nearly sixty five motion pictures and television programs, over four hundred commercials, industrials, print jobs and public service announcements. With the arrival of 2002 Media Casting entered the area of film Production with the independent feature film, "American Grace". Since then Media Casting has assisted with the production of ten independent film projects. 2008 has been a busy year regarding independent films with the introduction of a new Film Studio, The Sacramento Sound Stage, in Sacramento in 2005 by Deon Taylor Enterprises.
